Draft Lottery Process: A spreadsheet was created to generate generate a random number between between 1 and 100. It uses an Excel function called RANDBETWEEN. The number generated falls within a range that corresponds to one of the Franchises based on the percentage odds where they ranked at the end of the season (see below). Once the first pick is drawn, the Franchise (and its factor) to whom the 1st pick was awarded, is removed from the process and the cumulative factors for remaining Franchises are recalculated thus producing new ranges, and so on.
