Stanley Cup Playoffs and Offseason Activities:
July 31: Beginning of qualification round
Aug. 9: Start of Stanley Cup Playoffs
Oct. 2: Last possible day of Stanley Cup Final
Oct. 6: 2020 draft (after playoffs and before free agency)
Oct. 9 (or seven days after Final): Start of free agency
Nov. 17: Opening of training camps for 2020-21 season
Dec. 1: Beginning of 2020-21 regular season
All dates are subject to change due to the ongoing pandemic, of course!
Why ruin 2 seasons? Abandon this season and keep next season intact!

Yes, a great gift for you, Mike and Giac but I still prefer the regular schedule with games beginning in October.

NOT sure I will have time to watch 3 hockey games per day !! 1 at noon, 1 at 4 PM and 1 at 8 PM & not to mention the 2 hour time zone difference.

you are right…but I rather spend my time out doors on the golf course rather than sitting on a couch indoors watching some probably boring hockey as many players have opted not to participate…cheers.

If nothing goes wrong, this is amazing, we will have hockey for a whole year, luv it! So I suggest we have our draft up north week of 27, 28 & 29 November, what a great gift that would be!
