One of our very own Franchise brothers, who will remain anonymous, was nailed for speeding throughout the streets of Montreal this summer. Speeding at 120 km/h in a 70km/h zone, our brother was pulled over and given a ticket of $675… OUCH… and earned 10 demerit points for this offence. To add insult to injury, the police officer advises our brother that the normal protocol for this kind of violation is to impound his car. However, given his commendably clean record, the officer gave him a break and did not take the car away. Our brother takes the ticket, thanks the officer and continues on his journey. The best line of the summer… “I get a ticket for $675, gain 10 demerit points and I have to say THANK YOU to the bastard.”
