Prime Minister Trudeau rejects Mayor Tory’s Gift
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau visited Toronto City Hall on Wednesday to meet with Mayor John Tory for his first official visit to the city since the federal election. Trudeau was in Toronto for a photo-op, and to talk about the many important issues involving the country. Toronto Mayor John Tory had a little hockey related fun up his sleeve, and approached the Prime Minister with a special gift. The gift was none other than a blue and white, authentic Toronto Maple Leafs jersey. What a thoughtful gift from Tory, only… Trudeau is a well-known Montreal Canadiens fan. What happened next was something we could only dream of happening. The PM denied acceptance of the jersey, bent over and lifted up his pants to show the crowd his socks. Well done Trudeau!
